Education and Wildlife

Spreading the conservation message

Over the course of her career, Joan Embery has introduced people around the world to more animals than she can count! She has seen the way that a person is changed by seeing—close up—an exotic animal like an Andean condor or by holding a snake. There's no better way to reach hearts and minds. To that end, the Embery Institute for Wildlife Conservation connects people to wildlife and conservation issues, reminding us all of our roles in the health of our surrounding natural environments.

Meet some of the Institute's animal ambassadors!
