To Volunteers, from Joan:
Our goal is to give students exposure to the challenges and daily demands of maintaining a captive collection of wildlife. From preparing diets, record keeping, maintenance, point compliance, animal handling and training, and public presentations, students can hone their skills and become more prepared to pursue their educational and career goals. It takes a team and everyone can play an important role in helping to achieve our goals of conservation education. Our volunteers range from high school students to senior citizens, all of them have a passion for animals and nature.
