Mugger the Mountain Lion

Mugger the Mountain Lion helps me show people how magnificent our native wildlife is. Once eliminated throughout much of its original range, the mountain lion is now making a strong comeback under protection. As our population continues to sprawl into rural areas conflicts between humans and these magnificent predators are inevitable. To balance the demands for natural resources we will need to learn more about the little known lifestyle and habits of the mountain lion, its prey and other life forms that share its habitat. This picture was taken on the mountain behind my ranch, once mountain lion habitat.
