Pillsbury
Ranch is located in the foothills east of San Diego. The local mountains
rise behind the ranch creating a beautiful background. The ranches
50 acres are dedicated to animals of every description. With some
fifty horses from miniature to draft, foals to retired show horses,
personal pets, wildlife ambassadors, and even native wildlife. It
is an animal lovers paradise. Antiques abound representing ranch
life of yesteryear. Windmills, water tanks, wagons, forges, tools,
farm implements and a historic 100 year old barn filled with artifacts
add to the visitors experience. Part of the ranch is dedicated to
a community equestrian facility. Fundraisers are frequently held
for worthwhile charities. For animals and people alike Pillsbury
Ranch is a haven for all types of animal activities..
